Start with one practical need
- Is there someone I can ask to listen?
- Which responsibility could someone share this week?
- What appointment or routine of my own have I postponed?
- Would a counselor or support group help me feel less alone?
Choose support that feels usable
An online group may fit a busy schedule. An in-person meeting may offer connection. Individual counseling can give you space to discuss your experience. You do not have to choose the same support as your loved one.
Make room for limits
You do not have to become a treatment provider or manage everything alone. Ask a professional to help you think through your role and what support is realistic.
